How long is my card good for?
All course completion cards are valid for two (2) years, with the exception of Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens, which is valid for one (1) year.
How long after the course will I receive my card?
Course completion cards are issued at the end of each class.
My card has already expired, can I take the renewal course or do I have to take the Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers course?
With the release (in 2015) of the new instructional material, and course format, it is strongly recommended that the full Basic Life Support course be taken.
What happens if I don't pass the course?
Remediation is provided immediately following each course. In the event that remediation can not be provided following a course meeting, a mutually convenient time will be arranged for remediation.
I lost my card, how do I go about getting a replacement?
